Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She hosts the Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and also serves as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network presenter with her distinctive spikey blonde hair and exuberant personality, shares easy to learn techniques and eliminates anxiety about restaurant food on her TV show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell also worked at several of the city's most prestigious establishments, studied Italian cuisine and its traditions and has participated in Food Network's Iron Chef America. Growing up in upstate New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and eating in her early years. The Culinary Institute of America has sparked her interest in managing restaurants when she received an English/Communications diploma at Canisius College Buffalo NY. Burrell also serves as a Juvenile Disease Research Foundation's celebrity spokesperson and promotes awareness about childhood diabetes.
