Thompson

Thompson was born on May 31st the year 1961, in Rochester (Minnesota) Thompson was born in Minnesota, the youngest of five children born to Clifford Barry Thompson, a musician. Thompson has two sisters, Coleen Goodrich and Shannon Katona and two brothers Andrew and Barry. Her mother is from Ireland. Mikhail Baryshnikov was at the time the artistic director. He told her "You are a beautiful dancer, but your body is too big." She described the moment as "my epiphany" when she decided to end her dancing career and become an ballet dancer. That was a great moment. I could have smashed my head against the wall for another 10 years. "[She began acting. She moved to New York at the age of 20 and performed in numerous Burger King commercials in the 1980s along with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Her co-star in Back to the Future Part II was Elisabeth Shue. Jaws 3-D was her feature film debut in 1983. I also claimed that I was able to waterski. And I did not. I had to master water-skiing techniques that were really difficult in five days because I needed to do the Sea World water skiing show. I don’t even know how swimming works!" This was followed by All the Right Moves (1983), Red Dawn (84), and The Wild Life (84).
