made her debut in a feature film in the independent drama Kids. Her roles in
the following films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats
(2002). Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and
ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. The actress has also been nominated for the Critics'
Choice Movie Award for the Best Actress In a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance
(2013), Top Five (2014), and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born on
the 9th of May 1979 in New York City. Isabel Celeste, her mother is Afro-Cuban.

her mother was married to Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four

in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is set to star in the new Disney+
original series Ahsoka. She will also be appearing in Young Rock, an
autobiographical comedy produced directed by Dwayne John that will air in 2021.
